Jeremy Wright

Jeremy’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (Hon) and an MBA. His career has spanned a range of roles in marketing and management – in industries including advertising, telecommunications, the performing arts and medical research.

The medical research interest started in 1988, when Jeremy was involved in the launch of Red Nose Day in NSW – which directly funded a prevention program that has now helped to significantly reduce the incidence of cot death in Australia. He also helped the Children’s Medical Research Institute launch Jeans for Genes Day and served on the boards of the Starlight Foundation and the Telstra ChildFlight Helicopter service.

In 2004 Jeremy was asked to establish MS Research Australia as a national research arm for MS Australia. This organisation has since raised over $25mill and significantly galvanised the Australian research effort.

Having stepped down from MSRA in 2013, Jeremy has taken on new challenges assisting Grameen Australia and the Tribal Warrior Association (both involved in Social Business), as well as Board positions with the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network and Taikoz/Synergy Percussion Ensembles.
